Just another quick post (that will be full of pictures) to say that I visited Delgatie Castle and Macduff Aquarium today. Macduff Aquarium, as the name suggests, is full of fish. Delgatie Castle is a tower-house type castle that Mary, Queen of Scots stayed in for 3 days, after the Battle of Corrichie, in 1562. I loved that there was a fountain with no water, but was, instead, full of weeds. There was also a wee river and a pond, and the water was completely green. It was a nice change from the well-manicured gardens of fancy castles.
As usual, there are more photos on my Flickr page. 🙂
